It Ends With Us- Book Review

Colleen Hoover is the New York Times bestselling author of nine novels, including the #1 bestseller, Hopeless.

Hoover’s books have always played well with the reading public and her edition titled, It Ends with Us, is no different from her earlier novels regarding appeal and reach.

“Fifteen seconds. That’s all it takes to change everything about a person completely.”

The book went above and beyond all of my expectations. It Ends with Us is the cherry on top of Colleen Hoover’s already flawless cake in my opinion, and I honestly can’t say enough amazing things about her.

As someone who has read every book written by Hoover, I can honestly state that when I picked up her latest book this summer, I believed I knew what to expect.
But, my grief, I didn’t realize how incorrect I was until I started turning the pages. It was nothing but tears!

This novel, in my opinion, is the author’s best work to date, demonstrating that she has a much broader range as a writer and storyteller than the typical love story or young adult romance.
This work is excellent, insightful, personal, and profound.

Lily Blossom Bloom, a young adult living in Boston with huge goals, is the main character of the novel. One of the most amazing female characters in this genre, she is strong, determined, and eccentric.

She meets Ryle on her escapades in Boston, and he immediately wins her over with his frankness and honesty. The beginning of Lily and Ryle’s story is typical, but it drastically evolves during the book in ways the reader does not anticipate.

I wouldn’t want to spoil too much of this book’s plot for you before you start reading it. Like everyone else who reads this book, I went into it fully in the dark.

It Ends with Us is a book that appears to be about love but is actually a very moving tale about life.
